The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi o Whakatū is seeking a part-time Audience & Revenue Development role to support audience growth, communications, and fundraising activity.
Working closely with the Gallery Team, this role contributes to building audience engagement, strengthening supporter relationships, and supporting income generation.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone early in their career who is organised, curious, and keen to develop their skills across audience development, communications, and fundraising.
Key responsibilities:
Support audience development initiatives and track audience insights
Assist with donor communications and support fundraising activity
Support the Friends / membership programme
Maintain and use the gallery’s supporter database
Coordinate digital communications (website, social media, email)
Assist with monitoring performance and contributing to reporting and evaluation
About you:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with digital platforms and willing to learn new systems
Well organised, with the ability to manage work independently
Interested in audience engagement, communications, or fundraising
A practical, can-do approach and willingness to learn
You don’t need to have done all of this before. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, who is keen to build experience in the arts and cultural sector.
