Artist Euan MacLeod has referenced his artist friend and muse Geoff Dixon many times, from the 1970s onwards.  This, almost animalistic, portrait of Geoff within the Cairns environment, was completed during the FacingTime project between 2021 – 2022, a period of lockdowns. Based in Australia, Macleod’s work gains sustenance from the landscapes of both his birthplace and his adopted home, and he has exhibited consistently in New Zealand and Australia throughout his career.
