Ten years ago The Suter reopened its doors and started a new chapter.

On Friday 1 May, we’re celebrating that milestone with a one-night fundraising auction — Friends with Benefits.

To make it work, we need great art.

We’re looking for a limited number of significant works from collectors who want to play a visible role in the night.

The stronger the works, the stronger the bidding.
The stronger the bidding, the bigger the impact for The Suter.

Why It Matters

Public investment keeps the doors open.

But the exhibitions, education programmes and collection care that define The Suter rely on the generosity of our community.

Friends with Benefits is about celebrating the supporters who believe in the Gallery and helping shape what comes next.

Our goal for the evening is to raise $35,000–$40,000.

Exceptional wines.
A main auction.
Selected special lots.

A lively room of supporters, collectors and friends of the Gallery — all brought together by invitation.

Ten years on from reopening, this is our way of saying thank you — and asking you to be part of the next chapter.
