This exhibition brings the powerful multimedia practice of Diane Prince (Ngā Puhi, Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Kahu), to Whakatū Nelson. Prince’s work emphasises Māori rights, particularly those of Māori women. Framed by past and present Māori activism, it highlights the lasting relevance of her work to Māori and New Zealand art history.
Curated by Gina Matchitt and toured by Pātaka Art + Museum.
