Join us for a special talk with celebrated New Zealand painter Karl Maughan, whose newest exhibition A Clear Day, opens the same morning.

Karl is widely admired for his colourful, detailed garden scenes that seem to hum with life. In this talk, he’ll take us behind the canvases—sharing how he builds his compositions, the role memory and imagination play in his work, and what inspired the paintings in A Clear Day.

Whether you’re a long-time admirer or new to his art, this is a chance to hear directly from the artist about his practice and see the exhibition through his eyes.
