The Suter offers a comprehensive education service catering for the needs of preschool, primary, secondary, and tertiary students, as well as other community groups.

The Suter runs Ministry of Education funded school programmes featuring a range of varied learning experiences for students including hands-on learning activities, and opportunities to respond to the art works on display in a variety of ways such as art, dance and drama. Schools can take advantage of The Suter’s ever changing exhibition programme featuring local, national and international shows to support their delivery of the New Zealand curriculum.

We are flexible enough to fit in with your programmes and timetable, and can cater for groups of all sizes and interests.

We have a continually changing selection of education programmes for schools based around The Suter’s exhibitions. Additionally we can provide a range of art lessons based around our collection of artworks and other permanent art featuring at The Suter and beyond.
