The Unseen is an art-science-community project exploring the risks associated with environmental and climate change, and how these might affect the way we manage our marine ecosystems.

Gabby's research is helping us to understand the best ways for us to share science information about ecosystem-based management (EBM). EBM is a holistic and inclusive way to manage our marine environments – and to manage the competing uses for, demands on, and ways that New Zealanders value those environments. EBM will only work if communities, iwi, businesses and resource managers understand and trust in the data and tools.
