The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi o Whakatū invites ceramic artists of Te Tauihu to submit work for Fire & Earth 2025—a biennial celebration of clay.
This is more than an exhibition; it’s a statement of place, practice, and passion—a space where the raw elements of fire and earth are transformed into something timeless. We invite you to push the limits of your craft, explore bold new ideas, and showcase the finest expression of your ceramic voice.
How to Enter
🔥 Submit high-quality images of your work along with your artist statement by 5:00 PM, Monday 28 July 2025.
🔥 Click the “Make A Submission” button below and complete the online form

🔥 The submission of up to three works may include installations or multi-part artwork
🔥 Selection notifications will be sent by Monday 4 August 2025. Selection is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
🔥 If selected, artworks must be delivered to The Suter by Monday 25 August 2025.
